Our idea for the Dunny competition in Kenilworth is based on the ideas of making the time we spend on the toilet an experience while creating a space which works fully self-sufficient. Rather than designing a toilet as a “monument”, we decided to go for the bigger picture and integrated our loo into a landscape for the community and their visitors around it. Depending on the acceptance of the initial stage the idea is designed to either remain like that or grow organically with a growing level of activity on site.
